Entered politics through Students Movement; was Ernakulam District President of K.S.C from 1971 to 1073; Was General Secretary, K.S.C from 1973 to 1976; was arrested several times in connection with Students agitations; was Chairman, Petitions Committee of the Legislative Assembly for 5 years.
Now State General Secretary, Kerala Congress.
